Six of Seneca Valley’s 10 cross country runners participated in the Varsity Race. Lead by Ryan Turner and John Klansek, the boys finished in 16th place with 423 points, beating out Saint James High School.

Freshman Ryan placed 60th overall with a time of 19:05.54, followed by sophomore John in 61st place with a time of 19:06.36. Next across the line were senior Sean Quiroga in 120th place and junior Myles Williams in 121st place (times 22:08.77 and 22:25.91). Rounding out the team were junior Prithwijeet Ghosh in 128th place (24:42.02) and senior Joine Squire in 134th place (26:19.95).

A special congratulations to Ryan, John, Myles, and Joine for finishing their first ever cross country races! What a great start to the season!

Four members of the cross country team represented Seneca Valley in the Boy’s B race. Congratulations to sophomores Bradley Odidi (26:56.88), Bidwottam Ranjit (27:02.39), Lucas Wright (28:40.33), and William Portillo (30.47.43) for finishing their first ever cross country races!
